Partnership announcement - E+F appoints four new partners

We are delighted to announce four new partners: Paul Brookes, Zachary Jelley, Andy Nicoll and Richard Scott.  All four started their training with E+F and qualified at the firm, so we are proud to welcome them to the Partnership from 1 May 2023.

Paul Brookes

Paul is a synthetic chemist by training focusing on chemical subject-matter. His practice includes prosecution and EPO opposition and appeal work. Paul also has significant experience drafting applications and providing freedom-to-operate services.

Zachary Jelley

Zachary is an electronic engineer focusing on drafting and prosecution of electronic and computer-implemented inventions. He has considerable experience in full-service portfolio management.

Andy Nicoll

Andy is a biological chemist specialising in pharmaceuticals and nutrition.  He has a keen interest in post-grant proceedings including EPO opposition proceedings and supplementary protection certificates (SPCs).

Richard Scott

Richard has a broad technical background that includes materials science and commodity manufacturing.  His practice, which focuses primarily on consumer products, spans the full patent lifecycle, from patent creation to freedom-to-practice and EPO opposition work.
