Ella is a European patent attorney in our Chemistry group, with a particular focus on inorganic chemistry and material sciences.

 

Since joining E+F in 2019, Ella has gained experience in prosecuting patent applications, as well as opposition and appeal work before the EPO.

 

Before joining E+F, Ella studied Chemical Engineering in France (equivalent M.Eng.) and conducted research in Japan for a few years, working in plasma technologies applied to the Semiconductor Industry in collaboration with Japanese Universities such as the University of Kyoto. She then completed a PhD with integrated masters in Bioenergy at the University of Leeds, which focused on converting energy from waste using plasma-catalysis technologies.

 

Ella qualified as a European Patent Attorney in 2023.
