Since joining Elkington and Fife in 2020, Isabel has gained experience in prosecuting patent applications, as well as opposition and appeal work, with a particular focus on pharmaceutical and nutrition patent applications and patents

Isabel studied Chemistry at the University of Southampton (MChem) and graduated with a First Class Honours Degree. 

During her final year, Isabel undertook a research project at GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) on the synthesis of small molecules for immuno-inflammation and oncology indications, where she had the opportunity to work on early phase drug discovery and late phase candidate selection. 

Before she joined Elkington and Fife, Isabel worked in the pharmaceutical industry in Regulatory Affairs.
