Leanne Anderson

Leanne joined Elkington + Fife in 2021 and qualified as a European and UK patent attorney in 2024. She specialises in the chemical field, with a particular focus on pharmaceutical patent applications. Since joining, Leanne has gained experience in opposition and appeal work and has experience in coordinating the prosecution of patent applications across a wide range of jurisdictions.

Before joining E+F, Leanne studied Chemistry at Durham University, where she graduated with a first-class honours MChem degree in 2020. In the final year of her masters, she worked at Procter and Gamble in their Fabric and Home Care research department. During this time, she undertook a research project that involved evaluating and using a range of analytical methods to understand and improve an enzymes stability in liquid detergent products.
