Lee prosecutes patent applications for a wide range of clients before the EPO and UK Patent Office, handling a diverse range of subject-matter, from pharmaceuticals to battery and display technology for the world's largest smartphone manufacturer.

 

Since the start of his career, Lee has handled a large amount of work for generics pharmaceutical companies and is experienced in freedom-to-operate services. Lee routinely provides infringement and validity opinions and has co-ordinated Europe-wide clearance opinions ahead of major product launches.

 

Lee is also experienced in opposition procedure at the EPO, having appeared a number of times before the opposition division and board of appeal.
