Max studied Chemistry at the University of Durham, obtaining his BSc (1st class honours, 2021) before continuing to pursue an MRes in Synthetic and Organic Chemistry.
During his undergraduate studies, his final year project concerned the medical applications of silica nanostructures, ranging from drug delivery vessels to bioactive materials. Max’s MRes project subsequently investigated N-acyliminium cyclisations in the context of drug design, as a means to producing complex, biologically active structures.
Max joined E+F as a Technical Assistant in October 2022.
